Just came back from DRRU (Disaster Rescue and Relief Unit) training camp which is organized by FGM and under JPAM ( Jabatan Pertahanan Awam Malaysia)..
When I first time heard that it's under JPAM..my feel is just like WOW...is that any related to me? haha... I never expect to join any uniform body dy after I 'retired' from my secondary school's scout...
It supposed to be 2 days 1 night camp..but to make thing easier, I went to KL 1 day earlier...
Then became 3 days 2 nights camp..
On the 1st day of the camp
I was so glad to have my old friend- Hour Pein's help
Very grateful that he could fetch me from Bukit Jalil bus station to Petaling Jaya! Thx!
Reached my destination on about 6pm
Due to I hvnt recovered from my sickness ( a sudden fever 1 day before the camp), I took opportunity to take a rest in a restroom before the meeting start..
At night, attended a meeting and knew more about what DRRU is and its motive, and following plans...
Suddenly feel that, once I join this unit body, I have to take a huge responsibility in it...
Lol...felt abit pressure on that time... (=.=)*muka sweating*
Woke up early in the morning on the 2nd day of the camp
and started the journey with my friends to JPAM at Klang...
Our 1st activity: climbing a small hill at Taman Rakyat with jogging...
then very paisei...I couldn't make it..cuz I'm too weak to do that.. haiz.. and I vomited all my breakfast on the half way climbing the hill.. (T^T)
After we back to the Jabatan..we started our real lesson!
The jurulatih taught us the correct way to tie the victim!
lol..god bless..the victim is like a mummy..haha
Came to the most excited part! Ascending climbing!
So happy to have a chance to take part in it!
Here the show time! The jurulatih showed us Euro's way to climb down from the building!After these two lessons, we back to our 'hostel' and got ready for our dinner!
The more excited part would be continued for the following day!
On the last day of my camp, still the same schedule. Woke up morning, started journey to JPAM again.
This time, the jurulatih prepared some equipments for us to do the stimulation!!
Hoho! Started fighting for the next duty! Real practical in a small jungle! It was really fun!
After finished our practical and having our lunch, we started another lesson- First AidLearned CPR and bandage revised again..haha
Learnt a lot of things during this camp!
Though it was very tiring especially when I was sick
but it still very fun!
Because of having the time with all my partners! Thx!!!!
Waiting for the next operation or duty for the coming days ya!!
